How
much does it cost to play?
Costs vary from year to year and are set by IYSA. TVSC collects fees in July prior to registration and
pays required fees to IYSA. All fees must be paid in advance of registration; no player cards will be issued without payment in full. Teams manage their own accounts.

- Registration: $38.75/player $13.50/coach $5/manager
- Field fees: $21/home game if home games are played at the Simplot Sports Complex
- Ref fees (per game):
U11 & U12 = $13.50 U13 & U14 =
$39.00 U15 & U16 =
$48.50 U17 & U18 = $58.50
- DIII fees: $60/season; additional $40 fee after DIII deadline passes
Individual
teams determine additional costs for uniforms, travel, coaching fees,
equipment, and/or social events.
Why is TVSC so inexpensive?
TVSC has no paid staff and no overhead.
What services does TVSC provide?
TVSC represents member teams in DIII. As a member of TVSC, teams receive:
- Registration services for players, managers and coaches; player cards are provided when payment is received.
- Representation at the DIII Technical Director's meeting. Member teams coordinate with the TVSC Technical Director to identify placement in the appropriate age group and bracket for league play.
- Representation at the DIII President's meeting. DIII club presidents meet quarterly to address league-related issues and plan for the future.
- Representation during IYSA appeals and/or disciplinary hearings.
- Information. TVSC President is available to meet with member teams to explain DIII rules, regulations and structure as well as tips for teams regarding uniforms, equipment, structure and coaching.
- A voice. TVSC member teams meet once a year in June, to review rule changes and communicate updates from IYSA. Member teams each receive one vote on agenda items, with a three-vote maximum if a club (such as Fusion or FC Boise) has more than three teams.
What does TVSC NOT provide?
- Recruitment. Teams are responsible for finding their own players.
- Coaching. Teams are responsible for finding their own coaches.
- Tournament registration. Teams are responsible for all tournament deadlines and paperwork, including State Cup and President's Cup.

Can TVSC teams use the player pass?
Yes. The DIII player pass can be used between TVSC teams just like any other club. Use of the player pass is coordinated between individual teams.
Can any team join TVSC?
Any team may join by contacting the president or registrar. TVSC is not obligated to register every team.
Where do TVSC teams play?
Every soccer team is required to provide a home field. Through a partnership with Boise Parks and Recreation, TVSC home fields are located at the Simplot Sports Complex.
Do TVSC teams use professional coaches?
In Idaho, a 'professional coach' is defined as any coach that is paid. As used in Idaho, the title of 'professional' coach does not address playing or coaching experience, licensing, interpersonal skills, and/or quality of interaction with children. Most TVSC coaches have years of experience coaching and/or playing collegiate soccer; many hold a state or national USISA coaching license. Most TVSC coaches do not accept payment because they want to keep the game affordable and because soccer is their passion. TVSC coaches are expected to conduct themselves professionally at all times.
